The Brown Palace Hotel, Denver CO

This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel.

WALKABILITY: 4/5 – lots of places to walk in downtown Denver

SAFETY: 3/5 – there were many panhandlers and people sleeping on the street

The Bridgewater Marriott, Bridgewater NJ

The Bridgewater Commons Mall is right across the street. In the morning, it’s a great place to walk outside along the outer roadway; there is minimal traffic because the mall is closed. And in the evenings in inclement weather, walking inside the mall is a great way to get some steps in. You are not required to have your AARP card, but is helps. (Not really – they don’t check for AARP ID).

WALKABILITY: 5/5 – very walkable

SAFETY: 5/5 – I’ve walked around here in the early mornings and have never felt unsafe
